all Sections of the Stud Book)
The Royal Welsh
Spring Sale is the first Brightwells Sale of the year of Registered
Welsh Ponies and Cobs. The Sale includes Sections A, B, C, and D, and
their Part Breds.
The catalogue usually contains a large number of top class Ponies and
Cobs suitable for breeding, showing, and performing. Trial areas will be
available for the riding and driving entries.
This year's Sale will be held on SATURDAY 13 MAY in the Main Ring at the
Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys, Mid Wales LD2
3SY.

ANNUAL FAYRE OAKS SALE
The Fayre Oaks Sale
is the largest Sale in the World of Registered Welsh Mountain Ponies
Section A, Welsh Ponies Section B and their Part Breds. It attracts an
International Audience and is a date marked in every Welsh Pony
Enthusiast’s Diary, and is an Official Sale of the Welsh Pony & Cob
Society.
Over two days we sell 600 + Top Class Ponies suitable for breeding,
showing, competing and just having fun with! The 2006 Sale will be held
on SATURDAY 23 & SUNDAY 24 SEPTEMBER at the Royal Welsh Showground,
Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys, Mid Wales LD2 3SY.

Why not apply for a place in the High-Flyer Auction at Fayre Oaks?
The Fayre Oaks Evening Sale will, we hope, attract Ponies of all types
of the Highest Quality. The entries will be limited to 20 - 25 which
will be selected in the case of a large entry. The entry fees will be
£100 plus VAT which will allow for a half page entry with a coloured
photograph in the catalogue. (This will have to be provided according to
our printer's requirements).
We should be delighted to receive requests for application forms. Please
apply early to avoid disappointment.

Why not make the most of the weekend and enjoy the Evening Sale over a
Three Course Dinner?
For £25 per person you and a friend can sit on the balcony above the
Sale Ring and soak in the atmosphere of the High-Flyer whilst sipping
wine and consuming a sumptuous supper! ( Bookings will be taken from the
30 June 2006.)
HAY-ON-WYE BREEDERS SALE
The Hay-on-Wye Breeders Sale is an annual Sale
traditionally used by the Hill Breeders to disperse their foals born
that year. More recently it has developed into a Sale of all Sections of
the WPCS Stud Book A, B, C, D & Part Bred.
Though unofficial it does include a large number of Registered Ponies
and Cobs, and a Show of Pony Foals is held in the morning prior to the
Sale.
The 2006 Sale will be held on Saturday7th October at Hay-on-Wye Market,
Hay-on-Wye, Powys.

THE ROYAL WELSH COB SALE
The Royal Welsh Sale is the largest Sale in the World
of Registered Welsh Cobs Section D, Welsh Ponies of Cob Type Section C
and their Part Breds. It attracts an International Audience and draws a
huge crowd of thousands of Welsh Cob Enthusiasts.
Over three days we sell up to 760 Top Class Welsh Cobs and Welsh Ponies
of Cob Type suitable for breeding, showing, competing and just having
fun with!
The 2006 Sale will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 20th , 21st ,
& 22nd October at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Powys, Mid
Wales.
Friday’s Sale will include
Registered Welsh Part Breds Cobs & Geldings followed by Registered Welsh
Cobs and Ponies of Cob Type Section C Foals.
Saturday’s and Sunday’s Sale will include Registered Welsh Cobs and
Ponies of Cob Type of all ages (i.e. not just foals.)
